Proposed Concepts for New Freeways and Express Lanes

Future traffic modeling of the proposed road network indicates that even with the proposed roadways, significant congestion is anticipated for the arterial network north of Princeton and along the SH 78 corridor east of Lake Lavon and then between the lakes to the PGBT. To address these anticipated mobility challenges, several concepts for potential new freeways and express lanes were developed and evaluated.
